Gibraltar-based insurer, Ibex Insurance, is expanding its distribution network, by offering its expatriates product range to UK brokers.
British expatriates based in Spain will now be able to buy from the local insurer via UK brokers.
The insurer, which specialises in expat insurance including motor, household, holiday apartment and legal protection, currently offers its products through selected brokers and insurance intermediaries on the Iberian peninsula.
Lowri Madoc, group marketing director at Ibex, said: "If a UK broker has got a client that has got an interest in Spain, whether it be business or property, they will now be able to offer even further cover in the insurance package."
Ibex is the largest provider of insurance products serving the needs of 60,000 expatriates in Spain.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
