Giles-owned Ink Insurance is on the hunt for new capacity providers for solicitors’ professional indemnity and expects a deal signed by the end of next month.

Chief executive Mike Smith said Ink had experienced a “strong” year in solicitors’ PI and was looking to expand their presence.

Despite the plans, ABI members described the solicitors’ PI market as a “bloody mess”.
