Online recruiter Reed.co.uk said only 6% of insurance industry workers got an increase in the past year

Insurance industry employees’ pay rises are lagging behind other sectors, according to a study by online recruiter Reed.co.uk.

Only 6% of insurance industry employees got a pay rise in the past year, compared with 41% of all professional workers.

Some 32% of technology sector workers received a pay rise over the past year, as did 27% of accountancy and finance employees.

Workers in the property and constriction sector received the highest pay rises, at 44%.
