We at Norwich Union are absolutely delighted to have won this award - to have done so for the fourth consecutive year is no small achievement.
It is testament to the skills of the 3,000 strong intermediary business team. They are the true recipients of this award.
We are particularly proud as this award is voted for by the people who really matter - the brokers.
In 2006, we have tried to be faster, more flexible and more commercially savvy - opening our doors to a wider spectrum of business.
In 2007, if we are to continue to succeed, we have to modernise, invest in IT and most importantly, invest in our staff.
Our IT systems have already seen a £25m boost and we will do the same next year for our e-connections with brokers and to support our own staff.
This has been a good year for NU Bonus and some of our more specialist lines, but it has also been a really hard market for fleet, property and motor.
We have, though, emerged from this a stronger business and are determined to lead the market up.
Be assured we will not be resting on our laurels, we know brokers want to see more of the same and we intend to deliver that and more in 2007.
