The insurance industry rallied to the support of the cricket-playing Lord's Taverners sporting charity at Newmarket recently.
The link was established by Robert Beckett, chairman of the Beckett Group, who is a member of the charity's East Anglian Committee.
“We have helped organise two highly successful events this year in the region, a golf day and a celebrity cricket match, with extensive support from insurers.”
On the night a mini-bus, funded by sporting events, was handed over to Norfolk Mencap with the Beckett Group logo emblazoned on it.
