Local paper claims cover withdrawn a year after floods
Flooded homes across East Yorkshire are being blacklisted by insurance companies, a local paper has warned.
A year after severe floods hit the area the Hull Mail and East Riding Mail series of papers is reporting homes being refused cover and existing insurers pulling cover.
The papers have a “Play Fair” campaign and are naming and shaming insurers and brokers who withdraw cover.
