Purple Partnership has 28 members after first year
The Jelf-backed broker network Purple Partnership has exceeded its first-year target for gross written premium by £30m.
The network, which was launched at the end of 2007, has a combined gross written premium (GWP) of £70m.
It now has 28 members around the UK, although it is based in the South West. It is targeting brokers with GWP of more than £2m.
Phil Barton, group commercial director at Jelf and chairman of Purple Partnership, said the network now planned to smash its original target of £100m GWP by 2010.
Meanwhile, Jelf has appointed Mark Bracher as a director of Jelf Professions. Bracher joined Ntegrity in August last year after leaving Lockton Professions, where he was managing director of the Bristol business.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
