Consolidator buys commercial lines specialist.

Jelf has expanded its Reading operation with the acquisition of £2m GWP broker Godfrey Moore.

The broker, which specialises in commercial lines, will relocate to the consolidator’s Reading head office.

It is the group’s third acquisition in Reading, following Goss Group and John Wason Insurance Brokers.

Alex Alway, group chief executive of the Jelf Group, said: “Providing Godfrey Moore clients with immediate access to the wider resources of the Jelf Group is a positive step.”
