Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) has developed a health and safety management service to help small businesses identify and minimise risks
The service, called JLT Commercial Risks, has over the past two years helped retailers, small manufactures and independent traders with their insurance needs, said the company.
The service also includes free telephone advice and tailor-made packages.
JLT Commercial Risks regional director Mandy Perry said: "Many small businesses do not have a dedicated health and safety person, but still have to comply with the legal requirements enforced by the Heath & Safety Executive."
"We were asked for help on this front by several clients and, as a result, we decided to put this package together specifically for this market."
