Duncan Cornwell to oversee claims performance
Lloyd’s insurer Jubilee Managing Agency has appointed Duncan Cornwell as agency claims manager.
Cornwell, who was previously Jubilee’s property claims manager, will oversee the performance and delivery of Jubilee’s claims functions.
He will be the main contact point with Lloyd’s on claims matters and will represent Jubilee within the wider claims community. The appointment is subject to FSA and Lloyd’s approval.
Andreas Loucaides, chief executive of Jubilee, said: “Jubilee has a strong and experienced claims capability supporting each of our business operations.
"Therefore, we see an important opportunity for the company to play its part in the market’s drive for claims professionalism and efficiency. As well as leading our claims functions, this new role will be spearheading our participation and support for the Lloyd’s Claims Transformation project and other claims initiatives.”
Cornwell has previously held claims manager positions with both Axa Re and Great Lakes Re.
