Norgrove gets top job in Ireland after quitting Travelers

Former Travelers Ireland vice-president Ken Norgrove is set to become Zurich chief executive for Ireland.

Norgrove resigned from Travelers in December last year, despite only being at the company for a few months.

He joined Travelers in the autumn. He was previously RSA director of SME and head of group renewable energy.

When he left RSA in March last year for Travelers, RSA commercial boss stressed that his exit would not harm RSA ambitions to beomce a top three SME player in the UK.

The Zurich chief executive role has been empty since the start of the year, when Patrick Manly left to take over from Annette Court as Zurich chief executive of Europe.

Zurich declined to comment.
