L&G to replace Peter Graham who has new role at insurer

Legal & General is set to announce a replacement for its general insurance business managing director, Peter Graham, in the near future.

Current GI boss Graham has taken over as managing director of Legal & General’s individual protection business, replacing Bernie Hickman.

An L&G spokesman said the company was close to appointing Graham's replacement.

Finance director Mike Lawler will oversee the business in the interim period.

Graham, a former chief executive at esure and Towergate, will remain on the board of the GI business.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
