C R Goddard Insurance was a sub broker for Lark

Lark has acquired a small book of business from East Sussex-based broker C R Goddard Insurance.

The book of business primarily consists of private client insurance, an estate case and several commercial cases.

C R Goddard was a sub broker for Lark and owner Chris Goddard will remain involved in settling the accounts and making introductions for the next year, after which the business will be handled largely from Lark’s Maidstone office.

Lark managing director David Foster said: “Although it’s only a small acquisition, circa £40k of commission, it appears to be good quality business that has been well handled, with clients that are used to, and welcome, a personal service.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
