Towergate Retail has promoted Amanda Walton to strategic projects and development director.

Walton is joining the retail divisional management team and will report to its chief executive Jonathan Walker.

Walton's appointment completes the retail management team following a restructure announced in May.

Walker said: “This appointment once again demonstrates our ability to respond quickly to the pace of change that is inevitable in a successful business likes ours.

"Amanda has brought an energy and focus to progressing our volume broking businesses and her promotion is richly deserved."

Walton was previously sales director within Towergate’s sales and service division.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
