Lloyd’s broker Oxygen Insurance Brokers has established a new division of its corporate risks business serving London, East Anglia and the South East.

A four-strong team comprising Dominic Roe, David Poet, David Jerrold and Martin Drury have joined Oxygen from Towergate Risk Solutions, where they were responsible for the corporate insurance offering.

The division will be co-headed by Roe and Poet, and will operate from Ipswich and Oxygen’s London head office. The new team will build Oxygen’s mid-corporate client and prospect base in the regions it serves.

The new team will work closely with Oxygen’s corporate risks hub in Leeds for broking, claims and additional risk management services, and with the London-based speciality teams in construction, power & mining and financial risks.

“This is an important strategic move to widen our footprint in the corporate insurance market," said Oxygen's managing director of UK corporate risks. Dominic, David and the team have an excellent profile and proven track record in their fields. Their expertise in applying risk management principles to insurance negotiation and service deliverables is something we will be applying across our UK corporate risks business.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
