New Lloyd's chairman Lord Levene went back to the floor this week.
He has started his initiation into the insurance world at reinsurance broker Benfield Greig.
As the first chairman from outside the industry, Levene has decided to try to acclimatise himself to the wilds of the broking world.
Backchat has been informed that he will be introduced to all the relevant departments, specifically broking and claims.
"It will be slightly more advanced than a graduate trainee course," our source said.
