Rachael Trist appointed syndicate counsel
Liberty Syndicates has appointed Rachael Trist to the position of syndicate counsel and company secretary.
Her key focus will be providing legal advice in relation to claims, reinsurance and other corporate matters.
Reporting to chief risk officer Jonathan Matthews, Trist will be based at the company’s London headquarters in Plantation Place South.
Nick Metcalf, chief executive of Liberty Syndicates, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rachael to the team. With 15 years’ experience in both legal practice and the London market, her wealth of knowledge will be invaluable in helping us to further strengthen procedures and controls.”
