Lockton International has appointed Tony Hardy as managing director, Global Casualty, to build its business in the North American, European and wider international markets.

The broker has further strengthened its global casualty team by appointing Jonathan Stokes as executive director, based in Pennsylvania and London.

Paul Jack, executive chairman of the international division at Lockton, said: “Global businesses need to work with strong broking partners and have been demanding an alternative to the established quoted providers.

“Lockton now provides a privately owned alternative with a global reach that can put the needs of clients ahead of the demands of shareholders. This is an attractive proposition to a lot of people.

“We have ambitious plans for the development of our casualty business; it will help us to capitalise on our potential to grow and position ourselves as a major global force in the industry.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
