Lorega hires new broker manager

Loss recovery insurance specialist Lorega has appointed Mike Meric as a broker business development manager.

He joins the six-strong development team to provide regional brokers with the sales support required to build their books of both personal and commercial loss recovery business.

Before joining Lorega, Merik spent six years working at management level within the financial services market for companies including Cattles, The Mortgage Times Group and Access Broker Services.

Lorega chief executive officer John Sims said: “We are delighted that Mike has joined our team of broker business development managers. We look forward to utilising his fresh views and experience gained outside of the insurance market to help brokers drive forward the market for providing commercial and personal lines policyholders with expert negotiation support in the event of a complex claim.”
