Cobra in commercial tie-up with LV

LV has joined the panel of the Cobra Network, replacing Zurich who quit the panel last year.

The LV range of commercial lines products includes all business and package commercial insurance excluding motor business. Cobra London Markets will continue to provide access to the commercial motor and fleet markets.

Last year, it also emerged that Zurich had ended its relationship with Westinsure (see: Networks under pressure as Zurich leaves Westinsure).

Cobra Network’s managing director John Lincoln said: “I am pleased to be able to welcome LV= to the Cobra Network insurer panel. This is an important development for Cobra Network and extends the relationship we have with LV to include its commercial products. LV has a strong commitment to work with our members and I believe our members will benefit.”

Cobra Network members will also have immediate access to the LV broker gateway, a new online system that has been designed for commercial brokers.

Kevan Aubrey, commercial development manager at LV said: “I am delighted that COBRA Network has appointed LV= to its insurer panel. We are focused on building strong local relationships with all COBRA Network members and their customers in order to deliver our first-class products. At LV=, we believe we have a commercial insurance proposition designed for today’s broker, which puts them in a strong position to secure business. We have nine commercial branches across the UK and each office team is focused on providing good personal service to our brokers. We look forward to working with all COBRA Network members.”
