Insurer looking to add 50 new staff

LV= is planning an expansion of its Bristol general insurance operation.

LV= currently employs more than 500 people in Bristol and is expanding its customer services division. As a result it is recruiting for 50 new staff in the first quarter of 2012, with plans to recruit more later in the year.

LV= HR director David Smith said: “LV= is going through a period of significant growth so it’s a very exciting time to join us.

“While other financial companies in the Bristol area are freezing recruitment and making cut-backs, we are expanding so this not only means that there is the opportunity to join us but also lots of great career prospects.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
