Striker fined and ordered to do 250 hours’ community service

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has been fined and ordered to do 250 hours of community service after driving while disqualified and without insurance.

The Spanish-born footballer admitted the offences at Macclesfield Magistrates’ Court.

He was charged with the offences last month.

Tevez received the community service, a £60 fine and a six-month driving ban for driving while disqualified.

For driving without insurance he was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £85 in costs.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
