Telford joins new hires Bove and Barattini
Markel International has appointed Les Telford as senior underwriter for UK and international professional indemnity within the professional liability division.
New additions Vittorio Bove and Patrizia Barattini will focus on Italian business.
Telford joined Markel from his role as Brit Insurance underwriter. Previously, he also held senior broker positions with AON, PYV Ltd and HSBC.
He will report to Markel senior underwriter of the professional liability division Andy Palmer.
Markel managing director of the professional liability division David Armes said: “We are delighted that Les has joined Markel and we look forward to expanding our professional indemnity business in the UK and overseas.”
