New powerhouse MGA Markerstudy Insurance Services Limited will be country’s largest MGA
Markerstudy is consolidating its group MGAs to form the largest MGA in the UK.
The new powerhouse MGA will be called Markerstudy Insurance Services Limited (MISL).
A statement explained the move was to simplify the operation for partners and customers, and that no changes to key personnel are envisaged.
Markerstudy Group chief executive Kevin Spencer said: “Having recently celebrated our 17th anniversary, the timing of this development is prophetic.
“Throughout almost two decades we’ve focused on tactical expansion, and we are now positioned as the largest MGA in the UK.
“This is a pillar upon which we will build our future growth and I relish the opportunity to begin a new chapter in our history.”
MISL will continue to deliver the same services as before, including underwriting, operational and claims services, to their 1,000 plus broker partners and over 1.5m policyholders.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
