Markerstudy has followed its recent launch of personal and household lines with the introduction of Markerstudy Professional Indemnity.
Managing director, Kevin Spencer, said the company would offer brokers a wide range of technical expertise and full agency support.
It has already set up underwriting binding authorities and exclusive facilities in order to provide competitive quotes for a full range of professional indemnity (PI) and directors' and officers' (D&O) risks.
He said Markerstudy was committed to providing a first-rate service to intermediaries.
“We recognise the need to provide support without the need for minimum annual premiums in these difficult market conditions,” he said.
Markerstudy's new department will be headed by Jim Packam, who has more than 30 years' experience in professional indemnity.
