Marsh appoints head of operational risk

Marsh has promoted Richard Waterer to the newly created role of head of operational risk for Marsh Risk Consulting in the UK.

Waterer, who will report to UK MRC leader Jeff Colburn, will be responsible for the property risk consulting and workforce strategies teams.

Waterer has worked for Marsh for ten years in a variety of commercial and management roles.

“Richard’s promotion is testimony to the excellent work he has done since joining Marsh in assisting our clients better manage their most complex risks," said Colburn.

"Richard will lead MRC’s efforts in ensuring we continue to deliver market-leading property and health and safety services to our clients, while maintaining our strong relationships within the insurance marketplace.”
