Health cash plan providers Medicash is hoping to boost customer numbers, by re-running its 'no nonsense' advertising campaign.

The 2002 campaign was the company's best ever and generated over 6,000 enquiries during a six-week spell.

The commercials will run from today for six weeks and will be aired on ITV regional stations.

Medicash marketing manager Maria Parker said: "Over 6,000 people contacted Medicash using the direct response telephone number, which appeared in the advert and it will be even easier to sign up new customers this year as we have a more sophisticated telephone procedure in place.

"People will be able to join up over the telephone without having to be sent direct debit forms to sign. This will significantly increase the conversion rate of calls."
