Portsoken has been given delegated authority to bind policies in the recruitment sector

Managing general agency (MGA) Portsoken has entered into a delegated underwriting agreement with QBE.

Under the terms of the deal, Portsoken will bind policies for professional indemnity, directors’ and officders’, cyber liability, employers’ liability, public liability and drivers’ negligence risks for the recruitment and property professionals sector.

Founded in 2013, Portsoken specialises in the recruitment sector.

Portsoken chairman Robin Kirkland said: “We are delighted that QBE has chosen to work with us and has recognised our specialist knowledge of the recruitment sector.

”We are looking forward to growing our mutual business and to building our relationship with them.”

QBE head of professional and financial lines Grant Clemence added: “Our agreement with them provides us with the opportunity to deliver a true cross-class offering to businesses operating in the recruitment sector where we are looking to build our involvement.”
