Mutual and captive managers Thomas Miller have bought CGU International Insurance's London risk management business.
Chris Charman will move from CGU to become managing director of Thomas Miller Risk Management (UK) and all other CGU staff will join Miller.
“The synergies between CGU's risk management expertise and Miller's creative talent should quickly provide a fund for new ideas for risk control and insurance-based solutions,” Charman said.
“This is essential in dealing with the increasingly complex areas in which Miller's present and prospective clients now operate.”
