Monument has been appointed as broker for Assurances Industrielles de Londres (AIL) of Paris.
Following the recent appointment of account director Bruce Copp, Monument has placed AIL's industrial and commercial property facility into the Lloyd's market with a current premium income capacity of approximately €12m (£8.1m).
AIL achieved Lloyd's coverholder status in 2000, and its managing director, Claude Louis, sits on the committee of Lloyd's Coverholders Association (LCA) in France.
Monument executive chairman Andrew Moulton said: “We are very pleased to be appointed by AIL as its London broker.
“There are considerable opportunities for us to work together with AIL to develop new product offerings to their client base.
“Our continued successful growth and diversification of our international client base positions us extremely favourably for the future.”
