27 staff in consultations are manager level

56 AXA staff face redundancy at the insurer's Ipswich base.

The firm said that 27 of the staff under threat are manager grade.

More than 1,000 people work at the Ipswich branch.

The announcement follows a decision in 2010 to restructure the company, splitting up personal and commercial lines.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
