MICL appoints business manager to target London broker market
Leeds-based insurer Motors Insurance Company has appointed Andrew Jackson to the new position of business development manager.
Jackson, 35, joins MICL from Royal & SunAllianc, where he was sales manager.
His role will include further strengthening the company’s relationship with the London broker market, as well as developing new and overseas business with general insurance and affinity providers.
Gary Whitelam, managing director of MICL, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team. His general insurance background will be a valuable asset as we expand both in the UK and overseas.”
MICL is a sister company to Car Care Plan, Europe’s leading vehicle warranty provider, and underwrites a range of mechanical breakdown, GAP and wholesale floorplan insurance products.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
