Ecclesiastical Insurance joined a long line of distinguished supporters when it insured Plymouth Gin's owners Coates & Co.
The 200-year-old gin was the favourite tipple of Franklin D Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Ian Fleming and Alfred Hitchcock.
Plymouth Gin has been the official gin of the Royal Navy since the 1800s.
The policy, placed by intermediary GMM Insurance in Newton Abbot, covers the distillery property, business interruption and liability.
