Loss adjuster claims move reflects company growth

Crawford & Company UK is to relocate, within Cardiff, to a new office from 1st November 2007.

The loss adjuster said the new, larger office reflected expansion across various business lines. It will be staffed by Crawford employees from the areas of property, liability, subsidence and surveying along with liability specialists from Crawford’s sister company Specialist Liability Services (SLS).

Benedict Burke, Chief Operating Officer, UK & Ireland said; “Increased demand for our services in Wales meant that we had outgrown our existing office space. More importantly though, there was a clear client-driven need to provide a greater variety of claims expertise from this location, especially in the liability claims area. Most importantly, this is the first time that we have had a liability presence in the local market.”

Michael Woolston, Managing Director, SLS added: “This is now the ninth office SLS has opened in the UK and reflects further controlled expansion within our specialist liability business as demand for our services continues to grow.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
