Nicola Browell appointed claims centre manager in Portsmouth
Groupama Insurances has appointed Nicola Browell as claims centre manager for the group’s personal insurances claims centre based in Portsmouth.
Browell’s new role will lead a team of 200 personnel. She will report to Graham Gibson, director of claims at Groupama.
Browell joins from Homeserve Warranties where she was head of claims. She has also spent eight years at Norwich Union, starting as claims manager and rising to the position of head of operations.
Graham Gibson commented: “Nicola’s proven track record as a talented leader will instrumental in the development of our personal insurances claims operation. Nowhere in our business do we pay greater attention to service than in the way we handle claims. The Centre Manager role is therefore absolutely crucial to the continued delivery of the highest standards of customer care and our focus on continued improvement.”
