Terry Wheatley takes non-executive role
Loss recovery insurance specialist Lorega has appointed Terry Wheatley as a non-executive director.
Wheatley is group chief executive of commercial underwriting agency Evolution Underwriting. He has also amassed over 25 years experience within the global reinsurance industry as chief executive of Centre Re Europe and previously as an underwriter at Lloyd’s.
Malcolm Harvey, chairman of Lorega said: “Having known Terry for a number of years we are delighted that he has joined us. He is the ideal person to have on the board as Lorega enters a period of expansion.”
Terry Wheatley said: “I am an admirer of the Lorega business model and believe the service it provides to brokers will emerge over time to be a mainstream necessity. Lorega has ambitious plans for its future and I am keen to utilise my experience to help the company achieve these goals.”
