General Re Corporation announced that Milan Vukelic has been appointed chief executive of Faraday Group, General Re's Lloyd's and London market insurance and reinsurance operation, effective January 2003.
Vukelic, who is currently manager of General Re's alternative solutions business, replaces Nigel Barton. He has resigned to pursue other interests.
Hans-Peter Gerhardt, currently chairman of Faraday and executive vice president of General Re Corporation, will assume Faraday's chief executive responsibilities for the remainder of the year.
