Dual Corporate Risks, has unveiled plans for a new range of products called Dual Evolution. Dual Evolution's products will present coverage for mid-market directors, officers and professionals.

Catlin faces AIG law suit

Catlin is facing legal action from rival insurer AIG after the Bermuda-based company was accused of poaching seven staff. A surplus lines unit of AIG has issued a lawsuit against Catlin for allegedly taking employees from its offices in Connecticut and Ohio. Both companies declined to comment.

Davies launches loss unit

A special and complex loss unit has been established by Davies Chartered Loss Adjusters based in Guildford. The unit will co-ordinate and oversee Davies' major loss operation throughout its existing network and to act as a focal point for high net worth clients and other special and complex claims.

Messaging hub launched

Xchanging and Advisen are set to launch an Acird messaging hub to all brokers and insurers in the London Market. The hub will support message traffic for placement, endorsements, accounting and settlement and electronic claims.

MVRA's labour warning

The Motor Vehicle Repairs Association (MVRA) has warned that insurers might have to raise their labour rates for motor repairs in order to improve standards.
