Agile has launched construction underwriting following the appointment of Gordon McNab.

McNab has taken up the role of head of construction and will lead further development of Agile’s construction underwriting capabilities.

The offering is is backed by Agile’s own Lloyd’s syndicate named Agile Underwriting Services Syndicate AUS2427. It sits alongside Agile’s existing products in accident and health, aviation, casualty, cyber, drones, financial lines, marine and property.

Experience

With over 35 years experience in contract works and engineering underwriting, McNab previously held the role as construction practice leader at Zurich in its Melbourne operations.

His background also includes marine engineering and senior positions at Munich Re and CGU.  

McNab added: “Joining Agile means working alongside a professional team of underwriters who are passionate about innovation and client service.

“I’m excited to bring my experience to help shape a new line of business and to share the knowledge I’ve built over the years.”
