’We’re proud to partner with Aviva and look forward to supporting their various teams over the coming months,’ says commercial director

Aviva has partnered with Percayso Inform to enhance its insurance vehicle data enrichment capabilities.

The multiyear deal will see the insurer use Percayso’s vehicle data enrichment propositions in its pricing, underwriting and claims operations.

By doing this, Aviva aims to create an over-arching data solution to support its personal and commercial lines propositions.

Matt Fothergill, interim chief underwriting officer for personal lines at Aviva, said: “Working with Percayso will allow Aviva to take account of individual vehicle features, enabling us to provide more accurate and risk reflective premiums to our customers.”

Providing a ’complete picture’

Percayso’s vehicle intelligence platform combines historic vehicle data with information from motor trade retail sales, DVLA, DVSA and MOT history.

This provides a complete picture of any one vehicle and supports pricing strategies.

Commenting on the partnership, David Kelly, commercial director at Percayso, said: “It is testament to the quality of our data that Aviva is partnering with Percayso.

”We’re dedicated to providing the insights insurance providers need to underwrite policies competitively and more accurately and help settle claims quickly and fairly for their customers. We’re proud to partner with Aviva and look forward to supporting their various teams over the coming months.”
