Brown and Brown announced as title sponsor of major PGA tournament

Brown and Brown has announced that it will be the new title sponsor of the 115th Irish PGA Championship.

The move will see the tournament, which takes place from 4 to 7 August 2025 at Monkstown Golf Club, officially be known as The Brown and Brown Irish PGA Championship.

“This sponsorship reflects Brown and Brown’s commitment to supporting the communities where its teammates live and work,” the broker said.

’Exciting moment’

This year, championship returns to Munster for the first time since 1997, when it was won by Paul McGinley.

McGinley said he was “thrilled to see Brown and Brown backing Irish golf”.

He added: “It’s a proud and exciting moment for the sport. Having met Nolan and the Brown and Brown team through my long-term association with Allianz, I know this is a company that truly puts people and community at the heart of what it does.”
