’This sponsorship reflects Brown and Brown’s commitment to supporting the communities where its teammates live and work,’ says chief executive
Brown and Brown has announced that it will be the new title sponsor of the 115th Irish PGA Championship.
The move will see the tournament, which takes place from 4 to 7 August 2025 at Monkstown Golf Club, officially be known as The Brown and Brown Irish PGA Championship.
“This sponsorship reflects Brown and Brown’s commitment to supporting the communities where its teammates live and work,” the broker said.
Diarmuid Nolan, chief executive at Brown and Brown Ireland, added: “We are a company that cares deeply about the communities we serve. We are proud to support events such as The Brown and Brown Irish PGA Championship, which have a positive impact on our communities throughout Ireland.
“This sponsorship is about creating moments that matter, for our customers, our teammates and the public.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
