‘We understand that our customers’ lives are powered by a whole ecosystem of technology, which is why Multi Tech Cover will be so beneficial,’ says director
Mobile network operator and internet service provider EE has announced the launch of a new gadget insurance product, backed by insurer Chubb.

EE said its new Multi Tech Cover policy will offer comprehensive cover including loss, theft, accidental damage and extended warranty coverage.
It added that the policy would extend to worldwide protection, offer manufacturer-approved repairs for unlimited eligible devices and cover devices purchased both from EE and other retailers.
Devices covered include phones, tablets, headphones, smartwatches, laptops, video security doorbells, fitness trackers, e-readers, games consoles, VR headset and controllers.
Malcolm Cubitt, director of product at EE, said: “We understand that our customers’ lives are powered by a whole ecosystem of technology, which is why Multi Tech Cover will be so beneficial to them.
“It brings peace of mind by allowing customers to protect multiple devices under a single, flexible policy. Whether it’s a phone, a laptop or even a fitness tracker, we want to make it simple, affordable and stress-free to look after everything that matters to you.”
Pricing
The policy will only be available as a monthly rolling plan and consumers will be able to choose between damage-only cover and full cover – with fixed prices of £15.99 and £22.99 respectively.
