Mark Pallas, associate director and head of business development at Winn Group, explains the company’s entry for the Claims Partner of the Year award
What made you enter the Claims Partner of the Year award?
At Winn Group, we enter the Insurance Times Awards so we can compare our service offering to those in the sector. There are many great claims partners out there, but we believe in our operation and believe we are market-leading.
The prestige of being part of the Insurance Times event certainly is a draw, but making the shortlist consistently also allows us to show our employees, who deliver best in class services 365 days a year, that what they do is special and at the forefront of the industry we operate in.
What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?
Far from just saying it, Winn Group demonstrates every single day that it is market leading and at the forefront of accident management. Operating round the clock, 365 days a year, few can match our service offering and even fewer can show their commitment to perfecting the claims management process through use of advanced technology and AI.
Our teams deliver the service and our senior management show industry leading thought leadership with an increased use of protocol agreements to reduce friction in the process and speed up the method of reaching a final, conclusive step. This helps the insurer by reducing claim duration and helps our clients get the outcome they deserve following a non-fault accident.
We’re market leading and proud to be so.
What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
To win Claims Partner of the Year would be a significant achievement for the company, demonstrating our standing among peers and competitors in the insurance industry. Our expansion and evolution over recent years is unparalleled – to have this recognised by the industry would be an exceptional nod of recognition and we’d take great pride in being named Claims Partner of the Year at the Insurance Times Awards.
Fingers crossed our name is read out at the ceremony!
