Commercial insurance broker Konsileo has made two senior hires in a bid to ramp up its northern presence.
It will see Chris Fitzgerald join as client director for Liverpool and Lisa Petherick being appointed client director for Warrington.
Konsileo now has 15 commercial insurance brokers across the UK and agencies with over 70 insurers since its launch in 2017.
New recruits
Fitzgerald is a specialist in professional indemnity for architects, consulting engineers and solicitors, and also has experience in the construction, biotech and digital sectors.
He joins Konsileo from PIB Insurance Brokers where he assumed the role of Northern development manager and a cyber insurance expert.
His experience spans 30 years, including running his own commercial insurance brokerage, FRD Risk Solutions, and senior roles at JLT, Astbury Wren and Fish Corporate.

Petherick has over 20 years’ commercial insurance experience. Her previous roles include operations director and board member at Broker Assistance, team manager for global risks at AIG, and account executive at Willis UK.
She began her insurance career at Independent Insurance in 1995 as team underwriter and then manager.

Having spent over 20 years in the insurance profession, in both insurer and broking roles, I’m looking forward to working with brokers who are professional risk advisors focused upon providing clients with the most suitable risk transfer options for their business and trading needs.
