’We are delighted to be partnering with Hadron for both our personal lines and commercial lines MGAs,’ says chief executive

Integra Insurance Solutions and Congregational Insurance Solutions have entered into a new underwriting capacity partnership with specialty carrier Hadron in a deal worth £500m gross written premium (GWP).

The four-year arrangement will see Hadron provide underwriting capacity across the two MGAs’ home and church insurance programmes.

Integra Insurance Solutions distributes home insurance through a range of affinity and insurance partners, as well as through its Nidus and Nidus Plus products for brokers. The business works with a number of major UK financial services brands.

Meanwhile, Congregational Insurance Solutions is a specialist MGA focused on churches and places of worship across the UK.

The business traces its roots back to 1891 and provides insurance products, risk management services and specialist support to religious organisations.

Growth strategy

Both businesses form part of the Integra Group. The agreement marks the latest stage in Integra Group’s growth strategy across both its personal and commercial lines operations.

Martin Cox, group chief executive at Integra Group, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Hadron for both our personal lines and commercial lines MGAs as we move into the next phase of our strategic journey.

“The depth of underwriting expertise, the purpose-built tech-led business model and the progressive approach to the delegated authority market make Hadron a fantastic partner for our long-term plans.”

Colin Johnson, international chief executive at Hadron, added: “Integra has built one of the strongest home insurance platforms in the UK market and Congregational has been serving churches and places of worship with dedication and integrity for over a century.

“The UK delegated authority market has not always given MGAs of this calibre the underwriting partner they deserve. Hadron is here to change that.”
