’His long tenure in agriculture insurance and diverse skill set will prove highly valuable,’ says head
iFarm Underwriting, Rokstone’s UK farm and agriculture specialist MGA, has appointed James King to further strengthen its specialist agriculture and rural underwriting team.
Joining as a specialist underwriter, King will support brokers seeking to underwrite new and existing farm and motor business.
He will also help iFarm progress its cross-class underwriting strategy, which covers farm combined, farm focus, property owners and farm motor products.
The appointee joins from Geo Agriculture, where he was a farm underwriter and senior motor underwriter.
He brings 13 years’ underwriting experience across both farm and motor classes, as well as an understanding of the agriculture insurance market.
Lee Ellis, head of iFarm, said: “King is a fantastic addition to the team. His long tenure in agriculture insurance and diverse skill set will prove highly valuable, as we execute our strategy to strengthen underwriting capacity and maintain our reputation for best-in-market service standards as we grow.”
