Delegated authority platform Arrowhead Intermediaries has appointed Steven Beard as its new international chief executive.

Based in London, Beard will oversee Arrowhead’s international remit, including entities such as global specialty MGA Nexus and specialty broker Bridge Specialty International.
He will join in February 2026 and report to group chief executive Steve Boyd.
Beard said: ”Arrowhead is a well-respected global brand, with world-leading talent and rapidly developing technology capability.

Experience
Beard joins from Charles Taylor, where he held the role of group president.

His broking career has also included senior roles at Ardonagh Group, where he was chief operating officer, Corant Group and RFIB.
He also brings vast experience from firms in broader sectors such as Xchanging, Agilisys, Globalwave and Redwave.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
