Insurance Times round up this week’s biggest MGA-related stories

Starting off the week, Aurora launched a new commercial combined product for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

The proposition, which is backed by Axa, covers property, business interruption, employers liability and public liability.

Then, Insurance Times announced the launch of its 2024 MGA survey, which will anonymously poll brokers on their service experiences with MGA partners.

Following this, Commercial Express launched a new leisure and park home product containing three leisure home schemes.

It aims to allow brokers to meet the needs of a wider range of leisure property owners.

And then, Volante International was named the best MGA in UKGI by Insurance DataLab.

The firm received a rating of 75% in the market intelligence firm’s 2024 MGA Performance Report, earning it a gold award for the third year in a row and the top spot for the second consecutive year.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
