’I look forward to working closely with my co-directors along with our talented senior leadership team to build on this strong foundation,’ says appointee
Woodgate and Clark has promoted Mike Higgins as its new managing director to lead the business through its next phase of growth.

Moving from his position as operations director, Higgins will take up the role on 1 December 2025.
Higgins suceeds current managing director James Eveling, who will remain at Woodgate and Clark as a non-executive director.
On his departure from the role, Eveling said: “Over the past few years we have made significant progress in strengthening our business model, leadership and operational processes.
”Now that we have become a fully integrated and future-ready organisation, I feel now is the right time to step back and allow Higgins to take the reins together with Simon Jones, client services director, and Egon Scheers, process management director, to lead the business successfully into its next phase.”
Experience
With close to three decades of experience in the claims and loss adjusting sector, Higgins joined Woodgate and Clark in January 2025 and played a role in the integration of Van Ameyde UK earlier this year.

Prior to this, Higgins served at Crawford and Company for over 10 years and was most recently in the position of head of construction for UK and Ireland.
Before this, he worked at GAB Robins as a liability adjuster and director of operations for property.
Higgins said: “Woodgate and Clark has an enviable reputation for technical excellence and customer service.
”The integration of Quadrasisst, our building repair network, along with Van Ameyde UK, has strengthened our ability to deliver innovative claims solutions to insurers, brokers and MGAs across the UK. I look forward to working closely with my co-directors Jones and Scheers along with our talented senior leadership team to build on this strong foundation.”
