Beverley Hodson named non-executive director.

NFU Mutual has appointed Beverley Hodson, former non-executive director at Legal & General Group and M&G Investments, as non-executive director.

Since 1990 Hodson has held a number of non-executive directorships and currently sits on the board of First Milk, Robert Wiseman Dairies, recruitment company Randstad NV and e-fulfilment and reverse logistics company iForce. She has also worked for PLCs Boots and WH Smith as a non-executive director.

Sir Don Curry, chairman of NFU Mutual, said: “We are delighted to welcome someone of Beverley’s calibre and with her level of experience within the food and financial services industry to the NFU mutual board. We are very much looking forward to working with her.”

Hodson said: “I am excited to be joining NFU Mutual, an organisation whose members are also its customers. My career has always been with customer-facing organisations, primarily in retail, financial, food and agricultural services. I hope that my experience will add to NFU Mutual’s continuing success.”

Beverley is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of Women in Advertising and Communications London. She was voted Midlands Business Woman of the Year in 1995 and awarded an OBE for services to retail in 2003.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
